This week’s local business spotlight feature is Aaron King and Skylane Bowling, Skylane Café, the Buckeye Lounge (Sky Lounge), the drive-thru, and Portage Tent Rentals. The bowling alley,

café, lounge, and drive-thru are located at 8311 Windham Street in Garrettsville. Aaron has been a dedicated part of the Garrettsville community his whole life.

Skylane Bowling Alley has been around for 63 years. This is a great place for families to get out, but still be safe social distancing. SkyLane’s offers leagues, starting now that you can sign up for. The youth bowling has sign-ups for the next 2 weeks, ages 4-18. Cosmic bowling is back on for Friday night’s 11 pm-1 pm. Bumpers are available all the time. Currently, they are holding the Queen of Hearts drawing, which is up to $40,000!!! Call for more information on the Queen of Hearts drawings. With the open space, it is also a great place to hold fundraisers!

The Skylane Café has been open and operating for 14 years. Hungry for breakfast and don’t want to cook? Check out their breakfast menu; they are open 6 am-12 pm, it’s a staple in Garrettsville. On Sunday mornings, they offer a breakfast bowl; $12 for adults and $9 for kids (including shoe rental); with 2 hours of unlimited games!!

The Buckeye Lounge (Sky Lounge) is a newly remodeled quiet place to grab a drink while staying safe and spaced out. Host birthday parties, baby showers, gender reveal parties and even your wedding! The lounge is open 4 pm-10 pm. Karaoke will be starting Friday nights, starting September 18th from 6 pm-10 pm.

Need a drink, but don’t want to go out and interact with everyone? Stop through the drive-thru at Skylane. It is open from 8 am-9 pm. Drive in to get drinks and snacks while being in the safety of your own vehicle.

Aaron is busy with all of the workings of SkyLanes, but also is involved with Portage Tent Rentals, formally known as Tents for Rent. If you need tables, chairs, or tents for any party or gathering call Aaron at 330-524-2646.
